I always argue with myself about this, because on one hand, I know that they’re just doing it for the safety and well-being of the children and how are they to know which cases are true and which ones aren’t or which report is true and which one isn’t, without checking it out and getting their noise all up in your business. I’ve also known of women who are absolutely terrible mothers who continually deal with child services and yet nothing ever changes – so it’s a really difficult situation to be in and I feel for all the workers who have to deal with the uncertainty of every single case and report.

I get it and I understand it, but it doesn’t make it any easier to deal with when they come knocking on your door…
